Everyone who worked for the festival is invited to attend our appreciation dinner on Friday, August 27th, in the Chaulkley Room at Burton Coliseum beginning at 6:30 PM.  The meal will be furnished but desserts would be appreciated for everyone to enjoy.

The Septembe General Membership Meeting will be held on the second Monday of September due to Labor Day falling on the first Monday.  The date will be Monday, September 13th at the Lake Charles Civic Center.  This is an important meeting as elections will be held for the upcoming year.  We will vote on the Executive Board and Board of Directors.  The Sweet Shop and Cake Walk will be by the current Board of Directors, and the band will be Ellis Vanicor and the Lacassine Playboys.   Voting will start at 5:00 PM and the meal will begin to be served at 5:30 PM.  You must present your membership card to be eligible to vote.
