The purpose of this Krewe is to continue the tradition of Cajun Mardi Gras.

Krewe de les Cajun du CFMA takes part in the Mardi Gras Celebration of Southwest Louisiana.  They hold their annual Ball every year and take part in the Royal Gala held at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The Ball for 2010 was held Saturday, January 23rd, at the VFW Post 2130 on Country Club Road in Lake Charles beginning at 6:30 PM.  A costume contest was held for the Prettiest, Most Original, and Funniest costume,  Trophies were awarded.  Charmaine Landry reigned as Queen and Andy Anderson reigned as King.  Music was provided by Jackie Callier and The Cajun Cousins Band.

They have their own float and parade on Fat Tuesday in the Krewe of Krewes Parade in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
