The purpose of this Krewe is to continue the tradition of Cajun Mardi Gras.

Krewe de les Cajun du CFMA takes part in the Mardi Gras Celebration of Southwest Louisiana.  They hold their annual Ball every year and take part in the Royal Gala held at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The LakeCharles Chapter’s Mardi Gras Krewe, Krewe de Les Cajuns, held its' annual Mardi Gras Ball on January 14, 2012 at the VFW Post 2130 on Country Club Road in Lake Charles.   The King and Queen for this year’s Mardi Gras Ball were Andy and Charmaine Anderson.  Duke and Duchess were David and Mischa McAnulty.  Prizes were awarded for: Most Original Costume – Gary and Pam Judice; Funniest Costume – Lori Verzwyvelt; Prettiest Costume – Renola Simon.  The band for this gala was Ron Miller and the Midnight Ramblers.  For more information regarding the Krewe please contact Renola Simon at 337-477-4475.

They have their own float and parade on Fat Tuesday in the Krewe of Krewes Parade in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
